Anyone who has ever planned a wedding or is in the throes of wedding planning will tell you that a significant amount of major and minor details go into pulling off the perfect wedding day. I am deep in the planning and been feeling stressed this entire year! It can literally be a full-time job in itself; hence the reason why people perform this as their full-time job job.
Planning a wedding can be overwhelming. There are so many details to consider, from the venue to the outfits, the bridal parties, food, and entertainment. It can be easy to overlook some not-so-obvious things that can really impact your enjoyment after the day and the wedding planning itself..
So what are these small things that couples can often overlook in preparation to say I do.
Underwear
Of course, the clothes you'll wear for the wedding are crucial. But what you wear underneath is just as important. Start with bridal lingerie from companies such as Honey Birdette. It needs to be comfortable, look good, and feel good, ready for that all-important day and, of course, the wedding night. The quality and fit of your underwear can significantly impact how your wedding dress looks and feels. You don't want to be uncomfortable on your wedding day; the last thing you need is a bra, a corset, or panties that don't feel as comfortable as they should. So, while you're focused on choosing the perfect wedding gown, don't forget what goes underneath it.
Eating
Have you factored in yourself and your spouse into the numbers for your wedding dining arrangements? Are you making sure that you are going to be adequately hydrated throughout the day and that there are snacks that you can eat as you wait around to get your wedding photos taken and run through all the formalities of your wedding day? In the excitement of getting ready, it can be really easy to overlook how much you are eating on the day and in the days before. So make sure you've got someone on hand who can help you ensure that you are eating a healthy, balanced diet that gives your body what it needs to get through the ceremony and the rest of your wedding party.
Back-up plans
If you've booked an outdoor wedding, what are your backup plans if it is raining or the weather suddenly changes throughout the day? Where are you going to go with all of your guests and how you're going to accommodate everyone will stop the same goes, but if it's hotter or sunny other than you planned it to be, are you able to arrange for shelter and shade for people so you can draw enjoy your outdoor wedding. But it's not just outdoor weddings that need backup plans. All weddings need backup plans for things that might go wrong.
Whether you need last-minute entertainment changes or you need to accommodate allergies or rearrange your wedding party, multiple things can go wrong, and having backup plans just in case can help you go with the flow and ensure that any last-minute changes don't ruin your plans entirely.
